Hi All
Couple of things to mention this week. First... I will be on a plane next Sunday, so there will be no comics. I am very sorry, and though I am able to automate the post, I still haven't got new comics to add. That's right, I am still making them every week. So it looks like I won' t be able to put up comics over my holiday!
If anyone is interested, I am sometimes on IRC, so, if anyone wants to hop on and chat... www.shadow-dragon.net (port 6667). I can't garauntee that the conversation will be penguin related, but there are a bunch of cool people on it and you will be made very welcome. At this stage, I am using the Chat channel. This might change if people actually want to talk specifically about penguinart.net. If anyone is unaware of IRC (like, maybe you are not a giant nerd so you would'nt know), appparently mIRC is pretty good.

Ok. I just went shopping for food and stuff for my trip. Nothing special happened at the shop, but on the way home our tram stopped. It uses electrified cable above it, and it got stuck on an insulated part of it and couldn't get power. A bunch of us had to get out and push to get it past the insulated bit. So there was a bunch of random passengers pushing this huge tram down the street with a huge pileup of cars behind us. Im sure it looked funny for people watching, but it is yet another example of how sad out public transport system is. Oh well.
Now that I think of this, there is one more tram story I would like to share. There is a lady tram driver who drives down St Kilda Rd sometimes. She is very vocal and often comical. She often speaks over the intercomm to the passengers, and even over a loudspeaker to people outside fo the tram. One time I hopped on and she was talking to the passengers about some TV show (not using the intercomm). As we got closer to the city a car was in the way, trying to turn right. She got onto the loudspeaker and said "To the Audi, move please... Yep you, nice car, now get it off my tracks". Then a bit further up a small car in the lane next to us was over the lane a bit and blocking the tram. The Tram lady was like "Hey, the little $500 car, get off the yellow line...." dinging the bell a couple of times "Get off my line!.. that car was only $500 right? I hope you didn't pay more for it". This lady makes my day anytime she is the driver, so Thanks Tram Lady. You Rock!
Anyway, this weeks comic is kind of about all those cool gadgets that are supposed to make your life easier that everyone seems to want to buy then never uses again.
